Every month I write you a note explaining what I can do for you to capture and preserve your memories. But, this month I wanted to share one of my personal projects with you. Outside of owning and operating my own professional photo organizing business, I have a passion for giving back to my community. I volunteer at the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary, I am on the Senior Council for the Gilmore Senior Center in El Dorado Hills and I belong to a variety of Chamber of Commerce’s’ and Professional Networking Groups. Last month, I was honored to win Ambassador of the Year 2017 at the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce’s Installation and Business Awards Dinner at Serrano Country Club. It is so important that I capture this moment because it was so unexpected and exciting – both in my professional life and my personal life. I love being a part of my community because I enjoy volunteering my time and giving back. I enjoy working with people and interacting with people. I was not looking to win an award for doing something I love, but I can honestly say, it means so much. Wondering how a professional organizer will display an important professional life moment? Let me share… I plan to hang my plaques on my wall of photos in my home office. I plan to showcase my photos from the evening on a digital photo frame. Rather than a photo book for my coffee table, I will showcase my award-winning moment continually on my rotating digital photo frame in my home office. This will add a personal touch to my professional environment. Additionally, I will publish these photos on my website and social media accounts to highlight my accomplishment in my field.
